The beach has several festive dates and various cultural events such as the quadrilhas dance at the São João (St. John celebration), regional "mela mela" and the parade during Carnival, the famous Fantasia Feast of the Kings on January 6, the "Curta Canoa" Short Film Festival, the "Canoa Blues" festival among many other events.
